THE HOME OF THE RAF MEMORIAL FLIGHT

The BBMF aircraft inside the RAF Coningsby hangar

A LIVING MEMORIAL, NOT A STATIC COLLECTION

The visitor centre gives the public access to the home of the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby. Volunteer guides lead visitors into the operational hangar to explain the aircraft and the stories they represent.

Because this is a working military environment, hangar access and the aircraft present can change. Lancaster PA474 is currently undergoing major servicing at Duxford and is expected to return in 2027.
