THE MOST ATMOSPHERIC PART OF LINCOLN

CATHEDRAL, COBBLES AND INDEPENDENT FINDS
Lincoln Cathedral is one of Europe’s great Gothic buildings and remains a working place of worship. The surrounding quarter stretches through Castle Square, Steep Hill and Bailgate, bringing together medieval, Roman and modern Lincoln.
Visit the cathedral, browse independent shops, pause in a café and look for historic details along the old streets. Steep Hill is genuinely steep, so visitors who prefer to avoid the climb should plan transport to the upper city.
WHAT TO SEE AROUND THE QUARTER

STEP INSIDE THE CATHEDRAL

BROWSE BAILGATE
