AN ORIGINAL BOMBER COMMAND AIRFIELD

HISTORY THAT STILL MOVES

Built on the former RAF East Kirkby, the family-run centre preserves aircraft, vehicles, buildings and personal stories connected with wartime aviation. The star is Avro Lancaster NX611 “Just Jane”, which performs scheduled taxi runs on selected days.

General museum visits and special operating days are different experiences. Engine runs, taxi runs and major events can alter normal admission, so it is worth checking the official calendar before choosing a date.
